Me and my gf celebrated our first year anniversary in SuperStar Gemini. It was 4 days and 3 nights stay with a route of Singapore - Penang - Langkawi - Singapore.
We had so many good experience on-board and here we share with you guys our top 5 reasons why we had unforgettable cruise in SuperStar Gemini.
1. Gala Dinner with the Staff Captain
After we checked-in in SuperStar Gemini, a Starcruise lady staff run towards us. We thought we forgot something but instead she gave us a letter of invitation.
It was a letter of invitation to have a dinner with Staff Captain's table for the Gala Dinner. Yes! we were both surprised and happy because for so many passengers in the cruise ship, we were one of the two couples that were invited. It's even our first time to ride the cruise ship. Truly, God's favor never ceases to amaze us.
Above pictures were taken during the Gala Dinner, We had great dinner with the Staff Captain and Chief Engineer and had some good conversation with both of them. The waitress serving our dinner is also Filipina and provided us top notch customer service.
2. Romantic Meal
One of the good things while traveling by cruise ship is that you don't have to worry about your food. SuperStar Gemini have a variety of restaurant on-board, an inclusive of 6 meals a day.
One of the restaurant on-board is Bella Vista. It is a western cuisine restaurant served a la carte or in a 3 course set. For us, it serves the best cuisine among all the restaurant on-board. The food they serve varies each meal.
Another restaurant on-board is Mariners Buffet Restaurant, it servers an international buffet including a good selection of authentic Indian food. Since it is buffet, the quality of the taste of the food is not comparable to Bella Vista but you could have as many round as you can.
And Oceana Barbeque, an open air a la carte grill & snacks. Since it is open air, it is hot to eat here so we did not try to eat here. It's beside the biggest pool of the ship.
3. Swimming
Taking a dip in the pools and jacuzzi of the ship is another great thing to do. Our favorite is the pool at the back of the ship. After dipping the pool, you could just relax and have a great view of the sea.
4. Shows on board
One of the shows you can watch here is Cookin' Nanta. It is a korean comedy musical show. It is a musical show where in they use kitchen materials as their instruments It is said to be the longest running Korean show in history. Brazilian Hot show is also a must see here.
5. Amazing Views
Breath taking views while cruising is priceless.
