Sunset Beach Resort Phuket, Thailand

Located at the beach front of the famous Patong beach of Phuket, Sunset Beach Resort Phuket provided a perfect getaway for me and Joy.

Shuttle service of the hotel fetched us in Phuket airport. It was a private shuttle so we don't have to wait for other hotel's guest to ride in the shuttle. The shuttle is new, clean, very spacious and comfortable. It's perfect for the one and a half hour travel to reach the resort.

As we arrive in the resort, the first impression is it looks small. Their restaurant is in front of their hotel and beside of it is an entrance to the hotel's lobby. Just right at corner of the lobby, there's a walk way leading to the resort's main area.

The resort's main area is quite impressive. It has long stretch of beautifully designed pool with a mini waterfalls. At the side, there is a mini pond where beautiful flowering lotus can be seen. Everything looks elegantly designed.

We stayed at the deluxe room of the resort. It's spacious and the furniture is mostly made of wood and bamboo. It has clean and very comfortable king size bed. The room also features decent size balcony with a magnificent view of the pool area. The only downside of the room is the aircon is not that cold. Also make sure to bring your own slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste as they don't have these items even you are willing to pay for it.

Last but not the least, the food at their restaurant. There are so many food to choose from their buffet breakfast. In terms of taste of their buffet breakfast, i'm not really a fan of it but lo and behold for their lunch meal, it tastes so great.
