Beautiful ambiance, buffet food and desserts and great customer service, those are the words that we could describe our food trip experience in Window on the Park Cafe Restaurant, Holiday Inn Singapore.
Window on the Park Cafe Restaurant is located at 11 Cavenagh Road, second floor of Holiday Inn Hotel near Somerset MRT station. It is a buffet restaurant serving mostly fresh seafood and ample selection of delicious desserts.
First, the standout about this restaurant is the customer service. As soon as you come in front of the restaurant, you will be greeted warmly by their staff and will assist you to your preferred table. The staff assigned to your table will check you time to time for your needs and check if everything is comfortable to you.
For those who are dessert lovers, this place is for you because the second good thing about this restaurant is it's\ desserts. From different kind of cupcakes, cakes, chocolate fondue, waffles to different flavors of ice cream and salads.
Now if you like fresh seafood, this place is for you as well. Almost half of what they serve is fresh seafood. They also have some cooked seafood like our favorite salted egg crayfish. I think I ate around ten of it. It just taste so good that i only have to stop eating because of the thought of it might get me into health trouble for over eating it.
Now for the little bitter part of the review, they don't really have so much selection of cooked dish. So if you are into this type of buffet, this is not for you. This restaurant is more focused on serving seafood dishes.
As a whole, we absolutely enjoyed our food trip in Window on the Park Cafe Restaurant. We would definitely be coming back.
